# Configure Your Beenos Solutions Workspace Settings

> Configure your workspace name, slug, timezone, default agent language, and conversation data retention settings in Beenos Solutions.

Your workspace is the top-level container for all of your knowledge bases, agents, members, and billing information in Beenos Solutions. The workspace settings page lets you control how your workspace is identified, how your agents behave by default, and how your data is stored and retained. Keeping these settings accurate ensures a consistent experience for both your team and your end users.

## Accessing workspace settings

To open workspace settings, click **Settings** in the left navigation sidebar, then select **Workspace** from the settings menu. This page is accessible to any workspace member with the **Admin** role.

## General settings

The general settings section controls how your workspace is identified and how agents behave out of the box.

* **Workspace name** — The display name shown throughout the Beenos Solutions dashboard and in any shared links. Choose a name that clearly identifies your organization or project.
* **Workspace slug** — A short, URL-safe identifier used in shareable agent links (for example, `beenossolutions.com/w/your-slug`). The slug must be unique across the platform and can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
* **Default language for agents** — The language your agents use when responding to queries, unless overridden at the individual agent level. Select from the supported language list in the dropdown.
* **Timezone** — The timezone used for displaying conversation timestamps, scheduling, and usage reports across your workspace.

After making changes, click **Save Changes** at the bottom of the section to apply them.

## Data & privacy settings

The data and privacy section gives you control over how long Beenos Solutions stores conversation history generated by your agents.

* **Conversation history retention period** — Choose how long the platform retains chat logs: **7 days**, **30 days**, **90 days**, or **Forever**. Logs older than the selected period are automatically and permanently deleted.

If you need to remove all stored conversation history immediately, use the **Delete All Conversation History** button. This action cannot be undone.

<Warning>
  Clicking **Delete All Conversation History** permanently erases every conversation log across all agents in your workspace. This action is immediate and irreversible. There is no way to recover deleted conversation data. Download any logs you need before proceeding.
</Warning>

## Danger zone

The danger zone section contains irreversible workspace-level actions. Treat these controls with caution.

To permanently close your workspace, click **Delete Workspace** and follow the confirmation prompts. Deleting your workspace removes all knowledge bases, agents, members, conversation history, and billing records associated with it.

<Warning>
  Deleting your workspace is permanent and cannot be undone. All data — including knowledge bases, agents, members, and conversation history — will be immediately and irreversibly destroyed. Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period. If you are unsure, consider deactivating individual agents or reducing your plan instead.
</Warning>

<Tip>
  Once you share agent links with external users or embed them in other tools, changing your workspace slug will break all existing URLs. Set your slug to a stable value early on and avoid changing it after you have distributed any links publicly.
</Tip>
